Cathy founded Capital Area Staffing Solutions, Inc. in 2003, with offices in Augusta and Bangor. In April of 2008, Governor John Baldacci appointed Cathy to the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s Advisory Council. She was re-appointed to that role by Governor Paul LePage in 2011, and served as the Council’s Chair in 2012. She is currently completing her second and final term.
In January of 2010, she was appointed by the Board of Overseers of the Bar to serve on that Board’s Fee Arbitration Commission as a Public Member, and in December of 2012, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court appointed Cathy to the Board of Bar Overseers as a Public Member.
Cathy was recently appointed to the Board of MaineGeneral Health, and also serves on the Board of the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce. She is a life member of the National Rifle Association, and other current memberships include the Kennebec Valley Human Resource Association and the Maine Staffing Association, as well as the Society for Human Resource Management, American Staffing Association, and Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. Cathy resides in Vassalboro, Maine with her husband, John.
Erik Hart, Vice PresidentWinthrop
Erik owns an insurance agency in Livermore Falls. He enjoys hunting and fishing year round and is introducing both his daughters to the outdoors. He began his first term on the SAM board in January 2012 and is currently serving on the FIC committee.
Dale Crafts, TreasurerLisbon Falls
Business Owner of Crafts Self Storage, Goin' Postal Shipping Francize and C.C.S. Pre-owned Auto Sales. Now serving in his 3rd term in the House of Representatives on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee. He's Serving his first term on the Sam Board.
Thom Watson, ClerkBath
Thom Watson works for the State of Maine, but in his other life he is a Master Maine Guide and charter boat operator, guiding for striped bass on the Lower Kennebec River. Thom served four terms in the Maine State Legislature representing District 62 (most of Bath) and was House Chair of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee, as well as House Chair of the Taxation Committee.
Paul is a retired Maine State Policeman who served as Republican leader in the Maine Senate and now serves as a member of the House of Representatives. He's in his second term on the SAM Board.

Nick is the regional manager for the Department of Environmentall Protection in Aroostook County where he has been a leader of the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club for many years. He's serving his second term on SAM's Board.

Butch MooreButch Moore holds a degree in biology and is working toward a graduate degree in leadership and organizational studies. He is a former vice president of the Pleasant River Fish & Game Conservation Association and the Narraguagus Bay Chapter of Waterfowl USA. He also sat on the board of directors for the Downeast Salmon Federation and wrote for Outdoors Magazine as a columnist and feature writer. Butch is a life member of the NRA and is active in outdoor and veteran’s issues.

Tom is a lifelong resident of Windham. He has served two terms in the Maine legislature as a state representative. He was a member of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife committee in the 117th legislature. Owner of Hidden Brook Associates Inc. a manufacturer’s representative and consulting firm. Formally a sales manager in the firearms industry for a major manufacturer. An active outdoor enthusiast now serving his first term on the SAM board.

Dennis L. KeschlBelgrade
Dennis lives in Belgrade with his spouse of 45 years, Connie. He served two terms in the Maine State Legislature on the Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs. He also was the Belgrade Town Manager for Belgrade from August 2006 to December 2010. His environmental background includes working in the Maine Department of Environmental Protection as the Director of the Bureau of Air Quality Control and as the Director of the Division of Operations and Maintenance in the Bureau of Water Quality. He also was the President of the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) in 1988 and the Chair of the New England Commission for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM) in 1994. Dennis is a veteran with 31 years of service in the U.S. Army and the Maine Air National Guard. He is a member of the Maine Lakes Resource Center, Belgrade Lakes Association, Ducks Unlimited, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Reserve Officers Association, the National Rifle Association, the National Guard Association of Maine, the Belgrade Historical Society, and the Belgrade Public Library.
Robert HoweBob is a native of Waterville, Maine. He worked as a machine operator at Scott Paper Co. for 23 years, during that time he was the Vice-President of AFLCIO, Local 431 and a Union Officer for many years. Bob grew up hunting, fishing, and trapping starting at age 8, spending countless hours with his grandfather and other mentors teaching him respect and value of our states outdoor heritage. In 1976 he obtained his Maine Master Guide License and began to share his knowledge with others. At times, he taught outdoor education classes at a local junior high school. Since 1998, he and his wife have been owners and operators of Pine Grove Lodge, a four season sporting camp, and Maine Guide Snowshoe Company. He is a father of four and grandfather of seven. Now, his time is mostly spent planning free outdoor adventures for our nation’s military through the “Pine Grove Program” which he has founded.
Greg McNealGreg was born in Caribou Maine and is still considered a “county” boy. At the age of five the family moved south and settled in Surry Maine. Greg graduated from Ellsworth high school and immediately entered the Marine Corps. Greg retired from the Marine Corps in June of 1996. Greg has also retired from the State of Maine.
Greg lives with his wife, Stephanie, and their four bird dogs (three Large Munsterlanders and one Llewellyn Setter) in Fairfield Maine. He enjoys all aspects of hunting and fishing however his passion is hunting birds. Especially the work spent getting myself and the dogs ready to chase birds whether it be Pheasants in North Dakota, Quail in Kansas or what he considers to be the best of all in north maine woods with his wife and the dogs chasing Grouse.
Greg is a graduate of Thomas College in Waterville with a degree in Computer Science, working on an MBA and a graduate from the Harvard School of Government in 21st Century Leadership studies. He also serves on the Fairfield Planning Board, the Gambling Control Board and is working on attaining his Certified Hunter Safety Instructor accreditations from the State of Maine.
As a new board member of SAM I take seriously the work this dedicated and professional group of outdoors men and women do to introduce folks to our traditional hunting spirit, and keeping the great Maine heritage alive.
